Ruby Wolfenbarger
Ruby Lee Wolfenbarger, 83, of Van Buren, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019, in Fort Smith. She was born Dec. 26, 1935, in Fort Gibson to the late John and Dovie Flanagan. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Wolfenbarger; three sisters, Betty Smith, Shirley Cole and Mary Calos; and four brothers, Junior, Luther, William and Bobby Flanagan.
She resided in Indianapolis for 43 years and after the passing of her husband, moved back to Van Buren to be reunited with her family. She was brought to the Lord by the loving example of her many nieces and nephews and sealed with the guarantee that they will see her again.
She is survived by a brother, Donald Flanagan of Wagoner, Okla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial service will be 12:30 p.m. Monday, May 20, 2019, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment of ashes to follow at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home in Van Buren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Sharon, her home health aide; her wonderful neighbor and friend, Sammy; and Kristi Brook for her loyalty and dedication for always being there for her.
