Anthony C. Blaney, Jr. November 6, 2019 Anthony C. Blaney, Jr., 63, of Liverpool, NY passed away after a brief illness on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 surrounded by his family. Born in Albany, NY he grew up in Camillus and lived in Liverpool for the past 22 years. Tony was a graduate of West Genesee High School, received his Bachelor of Science from Clarkson University where he was a proud member of Alpha Epsilon Pi and later obtained his Master's Degree from NY Institute of Technology. He retired after 30 years as a Manufacturing Engineer in the Radar Division of Lockheed Martin in Liverpool, NY. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero. Tony was a member and board member of Pathfinder Fish and Game Club, Fulton, NY and enjoyed competing in the sport of practical pistol shooting. He golfed in the Tuesday night league at Radisson for more than 25 years, he was an avid motorcyclist and scuba diver. Tony loved driving his red Camaro SS convertible for the past year while seeking new adventures. He was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Janet Blaney and sister, Kathleen Blaney. Anthony is survived by his wife of 29 years Mary Anne Blaney, son Nicholas A. Blaney of Liverpool and his beloved black lab, Molly. Calling hours will be Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 State Route 31, Baldwinsville, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, November 11, 2019 at 9:30 am in Sacred Heart Church, 8229 Brewerton Road, Cicero. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, Baldwinsville. Contributions may be made to The Humane Society, 4915 West Taft Road, Liverpool, NY 13090.
