John Henry Taylor
John Henry Taylor, 73, of Crawfordville, FL passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2012 in Tallahassee.
He was born on May 13, 1939 in Wakulla County and had lived in this area his entire life.. He retired as a Captain from the Wakulla County Sheriff's Department. He was in the United States Army. He was a Baptist and an avid commercial fisherman. He was a loving father and family man.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 20, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel, Crawfordville, FL. Burial will follow at Bonnett Pond Cemetery. Bevis Funeral Home, Harvey-Young Chapel in Crawfordville is in charge of arrangements. (850-926-3333 www.bevisfh.com).
He is survived by two sons: Cricket Taylor (Patty), Panacea; Darrell Taylor (Carolyn), Crawfordville; sisters: Irene Nichols, Corky Crum and Tenny Spears; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild and many other loving family and friends.
He is predeceased by one son: Danny Taylor; and his parents: Nelson and Susie Taylor.

To Darrell, Carolyn & family, you have my deepest sympathy and concern. The loss of your father will be one to the hardest to overcome. Remember the good times you have shared.
