John Ammons, Sr.
John Ammons, Sr., 85, of Miccosukee, FL passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church with burial at Concord Cemetery. Viewing-visitation is Friday 3-7 p.m. at TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO 850-997-5553. He was a member of St. Paul, a retired pulp-wooder and railroadsman. Survivors include: his wife, Cynthia Edwards Ammons; sons, Johnny (Joann), Joe and John Henry (Jackie) Ammons; daughters, Emma (Keith) Allen, Linda (Whitfield) King, Mary and Edith Ammons, Rosa Lee Ammons Walker and Rosemary (Ken) Franklin; brothers, Jimmy and Joseph Ammons; sisters, Marie Brown, Annie Nelson, Earlene Ammons and Joann Lewis. He was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Kate Leland Ammons; children, Fannie Mae, Ruth, Jessie Lee, Jerome and John Ammons, Jr; and stepson, Robert Leland.
