Crawfordville - Alma Lenore (Alnora) Warren Strickland, died Thursday, August 9, 2018 in Tallahassee, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Buell Adrian Strickland, her daughter, Irma Lenore Strickland and her baby grandson, Rick Jason Strickland.

She is survived by two sons: Adrian Strickland (Joy) and Rocky Strickland (Jean); four grandchildren: Rocky Wayne Strickland (Paige), Natausha Tucker (Brian), Dawn Taylor (Richard), Melissa Kromer (Ward); ten great grandchildren: Zach and Ashley Tucker, Rick and Adyson Taylor, Austin Kirkland, Raleigh, Reid and Jenna Strickland, Spencer and Bryce Carmichael; one sister, Maxine McDonald (Jimmy), many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Alma was born on March 12, 1930 in Bainbridge, GA to Max and Kathryn Warren, in her maternal grandparents, Walter and Alma Sykes, home. She attended schools in Montgomery, AL and Bainbridge, GA. Alnora (Alma) joined the First Baptist Church in Bainbridge when she was nine years old, attended several denominations of churches in different cities, always remaining a Baptist. Her last membership was at Riversink Baptist church (now known as Grace Baptist Church), in Wakulla County.

Alnora Strickland (Alma) retired from the Florida Department Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles, Bureau of Title and Lien Services on December 31, 1991 after more than thirty years of service.

Visitation will be Monday, August 13, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. at the church., with burial to follow at Zion Hill Cemetery.
