Ann Morrow Mickler Norfleet Stallings Hamrick

Madison - Ann Morrow Mickler Norfleet Stallings Hamrick, age 79, of Madison, Florida, died at home on Friday, August 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving family and God's amazing grace.

Ann Morrow was born August 13, 1938, in Madison, Florida, to the late Frederick Troupe "Fred" and Robbie Morrow Mickler. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church where she was a faithful member of the Mickler Handbell Choir, the Chancel Choir, and the Dickinson-Williamson Circle. She was also a past president of the United Methodist Women (UMW) and a member of the Fred Mickler Sunday School Class.

Ann Morrow was a 1956 graduate of Madison High School and attended North Florida Junior College. She worked in the NFJC library, but she is perhaps best known, however, for her dedication as the executive secretary to the plant managers of Dixie Packers, Inc. In 1992, she was awarded the American Business Woman of the Year for Madison County.

Ann Morrow was a charter member of the Madison County Gator Club, a participant in the "Keenagers" activities, a past member of the Madison Woman's Club, and an ardent supporter of the Artist Series of NFCC. She loved all Gator sports and enjoyed playing bridge and tennis.

Ann Morrow was predeceased by her parents; her brother Randell Robert "Bob" Mickler; her sister Frances Mickler Sanders; her youngest son Henry Randell "Hank" Stallings; her first husband Nat Smith Norfleet, Sr.; and her second husband Henry Allison Stallings. She is survived by her husband, Oliver Rudolph "Rudy" Hamrick, Jr.; her sons Nat Smith Norfleet, Jr. and his wife Monica and Frederick Mickler "Mike" Norfleet and his wife Nida; brother Dr. Frederick Troupe Mickler, Jr.; sisters-in-law Raye Wooley and Nell Ring; and four grandchildren: Lindsay Fico and husband Damon, Eric Norfleet and wife Daryl, Tre Norfleet, and Kristen Norfleet. Ann was blessed with three great-grandchildren, Dallas Norfleet, Stella Mae Norfleet, and Damon Chandler "D.C" Fico. She also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews and numerous family and dear friends whose lives she touched with her genuine compassion, her sweet smile, her Christ-like faith, and her unwavering sense of humor.

The funeral service will be held on her birthday, Monday, August 13, 2018, at the First United Methodist Church of Madison, Florida, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 12, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the same location. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, Madison's First United Methodist Church, or the Florida United Methodist Children's Home Youth Ranch in Pinetta, Florida.

Beggs Funeral Home (Monticello) is in charge of arrangements. (850) 997-5612. Condolences may be sent to the family by visiting the website at www.beggsfuneralhomes.net.
