Monticello, FL - Betty Jean Russell, 77, of Monticello unexpectedly passed on Saturday, January 9, 2021. Graveside services, with COVID-19 observance, will be 1:00 p.m. Sunday in Oakfield Cemetery, Monticello. Viewing will be Saturday 4-6 p.m. at Memorial M.B. Church. TILLMAN OF MONTICELLO (850-997-5553) is serving the family. Mrs. Russell was an active member of Memorial where she served in several ministries. She earned a nurse's assistant certification, and after 30 years as a surgical technician supervisor at TMH, she retired. Cherishing precious memories are her daughters: Wanda Brooks, Agnes (Terrell) Kimbrough, Suzette Bellamy and Katrina Akins; sons: Emmanuel J. Francis and Kelvin (Nikki) Brown; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great grandchildren; sisters: Gloria and Mariah Miller; brothers: Alphonso (Dorothy) Miller and Warner (Vivian) Miller and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
