Tallahassee - Gloria Jean Snead Thomas was born February 19, 1951. Affectionately called "Jackie", she attended the public schools of Leon County and graduated from the original Lincoln High School in June,1968. She worked many years as a paralegal.

She heard and answered the Master's call on Saturday morning, June 9, 2018. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at St. Rosa P.B. Church with burial at Southside Cemetery.

Gloria is preceded in death by the grandmother who raised her, Annie Mae Davis; her father, John Henry Snead; her mother, Doretha Davis; her sister Barbara Ann Weatherspoon; and her youngest son, Courtlandt Thomas.

Gloria is survived by her loving husband, Frank Thomas; her daughter, Kimberly (Christopher) Crawford; her oldest son, Jon Thomas; her granddaughter, Khorian Pace; her devoted niece, Andrea Weatherspoon; twelve brothers: Charleston Snead, Walter Lee (Sharon) Mickens, Mac Arthur Mickens, Kenneth (Gloria) Mickens, Tommy Lee (Jeanette) Davis, Robert (Marguerite) Davis, Allen Snead, Earl (Carolyn) Snead, Eric Gentles Snead, Wade Gentle, Johnny White, and Eddie Thomas; seven sisters: Shirley (Greg) Gentles-Stokes, Sharon Snead, Linda Jordan, Dot (Leonard) Duncanson, Ruby Dean (Wilburt) Randall, Jeanette (Ivy) Brinson, and Catherine Thomas; longtime friends Patricia Patrick, Joe Ann Houston, Patsy Hodges, Gregory Hodges, and Angela Kirkland; and devoted cousin, Sophia Ardley and a host of other relatives and friends.
