Anne Schrieffer Obituary
Anne Schrieffer passed peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday March 27, 2013 at Big Bend Hospice House. She was lovingly surrounded by family and friends. This beautiful lady was an inspiration to all who knew her. Anne's knowledge, leadership and enthusiasm was shared through her life, especially in the Tallahassee area.

Anne was known as a motivating force for so many but her family knows her for the loving wife, mother and grandmother that she was, always positive and fun during her life. Her generousity, service and beautiful smile will always be remembered.
Anne was born October 13, 1941 in Copenhagen, Denmark to parents Else and Neils Thomsen, deceased.
She is survived by her lifelong sweetheart and husband Dr. John Robert Schrieffer, three children, Anne Bolette McKin (Kelly) of North Palm Beach, FL, Paul Schrieffer (Norma) of Covina Hills, CA and Regina Schrieffer of Tallahassee FL, two grandchildren Rosie Grossblatt and Maxwell Schrieffer.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Woman's Club of Tallahassee at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 30th, 2013. Flowers will be accepted. Donations may be made to the restoration of the Woman's Club of Tallahassee 1513 Cristobal Drive, Tallahassee. Bevis Funeral Home (850/385.2193 or www.bevisfh.com) is handling arrangements.

I'd like to give a shout out to your mom for not freekng out when Amy drove her VW bug into your living room. What a cool mom. We would also like to thank her for hiring some pretty fine men to reconstruct your living room. Memories!

Nursing is a rewarding profession because we are able to take care of patients like Mrs. Schrieffer and their families. I was always thrilled when I would see her name on my assignment in my many posts throughout the hospital. Even as her illness progressed, she always maintained a positive outlook and demonstrated amazing spirit. She will be missed dearly. May her memory be eternal ...
