Tallahassee, FL - Elder Robert Lee Johnson, 54, of Tallahassee passed on Friday, January 22, 2021. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, in the Old West Enrichment Center. Viewing-visitation is Thursday 4-6 p.m. at TILLMAN OF TALLAHASSEE (850-942-1950).

With heartfelt sympathy to Debra and family. We send our prayers and love. Robert and I grew up in the same community, attended the same school system and served in the same church -St. Paul P.B. We worked in those watermelon fields... He has and will always be a dear friend and Great Man of God. He was a servant leader in his home and the community. I have the deepest respect for him and the life he's lived. He made me realize how important relationships with God are Family are. He attended many events in my career after I left home to serve in the navy. I was blessed to look into the audience and see my "homeboy" and Debra there to encourage me. He and Debra always made my wife Lisa feel at home when we visited Florida. I could go on an on about this Servant of God. He put others before self and his light will continue to shine. You will be missed. Rest Easy Dear Robert. We Love You.

When I say this is so hard. Reading my FRIEND obituary. For many years this was my lunch partner. If he wasn’t bringing food we would eat out everyday. We talk and shared a lot. He loved the Lord, his wife, his kids and granddaughter. We laugh, we argue, we rolled our eyes and neck at each other. But at the end of the day.....y’all this my friend. He made sure I was GOOD!!! Truly, my GENUINE FRIEND!! To his family, Debra, Marcus, Jessica and Ava, cherish the memories and know that God gained a GREAT ANGEL❤❤❤❤❤
