SWILLEY, Loris E.
86, passed away February 7, 2018. Loris was a lifelong resident of Riverview, FL. He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a longtime member of Providence Baptist Church and served there as a Deacon. He enjoyed working in the yard, working on his home, and playing golf. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda Lou Hobbs; brothers, Louis Swilley and William Swilley Jr; sisters, Irene Barber and Elizabeth Hartley. Loris is survived by his loving family; wife of 65 years, Julia Swilley; children, Brenda Brit, Glenda Miller, Ronnie Swilley; brothers, Raymond Swilley, Gene Swilley; sisters, Evelyn Whitt, Sandra Sloan, Patsy Keene; and grandchildren, Stephanie Miller, Natalie Birt, and Nathan Birt. There will a funeral service Wednesday, February 14, 2018, 11 am, at Providence Baptist Church, with a visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Providence Cemetery.
