WALL, Arlene

a resident of Largo, FL, ended her journey on June 1, 2018 at the Nemasket Health Center in Middleborough, MA at age 90. She had battled the ravages of Alzheimer's Disease for several years. Born in Dighton, MA, daughter of Robert and Arlene (Lucas) Townsend, she had lived in Dighton, Taunton, and Lakeville before moving to Florida.

She graduated from Dighton High School. She later graduated from the Morton Hospital LPN program, and she worked steadily as a nurse at Morton Hospital on the S2 surgical floor in Taunton for 30 years. She is fondly remembered by many of the nurses currently working at Morton today. She was an active member of the Morton Retirees Organization until moving to Florida.

Arlene was an avid dancer and was a member of the Morton "Rockettes" dancing troupe which performed at hospital fundraising events. She very much enjoyed travel with friends and family, including many ranch vacations in Arizona during which she was a frequent horseback rider. She was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Largo, where she and her husband, Fred would attend dinner dances weekly until just a few years ago.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Wall, of Largo. She is also survived by her three children, Gary Grace of Richmond, NH, Kimberly Briggs of Seekonk, MA, and Kyle Sepersky of Bonita Springs, FL and Lakeville, MA. She was the beloved mother-in-law of Dr. Robert A. Sepersky and the late Dwight Briggs. Simply known as "Gram", she will also be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Tobi Perry Peck, Wesley Perry, Talia Sepersky, Tristyn Sepersky, Amy Podbelski, Corey O'Connell, and Jeffrey Ovitt. She also had three great-granddaughters.

As per her strongly stated desire, she will be interred at a private service in Florida. The debilitating Alzheimer's Disease affected the quality of her life immensely over the past few years, and the family of Arlene Wall would greatly appreciate anyone honoring her memory by making a donation to the ( Interment will take place on June 19, 2018 at 1:30 pm in Bay Pines National Cemetery.
