It is with deep sorrow I read of the death of Dino Kotopoulis with whom I had an artistic working relationship starting in 1975 and continuing until the early 1980's. I respected Dino for his tremendous talent as an artist and for all he taught me about improving as an animator and as a human being. Dino encouraged me by appreciating my interpretation of his work for animation. I will always remember his surprising stories about his life and career. Dino was the most charismatic man I ever met. Visually he was a cross between Telly Sevalas and Marlon Brando. Our paths deviated but I shall always remember him with great fondness and admiration.
