BOOTH, Forrest M. 86, of St. Petersburg, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 5, 2013. He was a native of Plant City and was the Co-Owner of Garrett Plumbing in Madeira Beach for 39 years. He was an avid softball player, bowler, golfer, die hard Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan and Florida Gators fan. He volunteered with Grey Jays in Dunedin. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of Fifth Avenue Baptist Church for over 60 years where he served as a Deacon and an usher. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sara C.; 1 son, Gary Forrest (Allison) Booth of St. Petersburg; 1 daughter, Sandi C. (Phil) Phillips of Palm Harbor; & 5 grandchildren, Jason Booth, Nathan, Melanie, Garrett, and Sydney Phillips. He was predeceased by his 2 brothers and 5 sisters. Visitation 5-7 pm Monday, July 8, 2013 at E. Dale Gunter Funeral Home, 4100-16th St. N. Funeral services will be 11 am Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at Fifth Avenue Baptist Church, 4901-5th Ave. N.
