Jeffrey Butler Obituary

BUTLER, Jeffrey G., 49, of Port Richey, Fla., died Monday August 14, 2006, at Community Hospital of New Port Richey. He was born in Newton, Iowa and moved here from Kodiak, Alaska in 1994. He was a corrections officer for the Pasco County Sheriff's Office with seven and one half years of service, a retired U.S. Coast Guard veteran and a memberof Faith Lutheran Church in New Port Richey. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Kathy Butler of Port Richey; son, Andrew J. Butler of Port Richey; two daughters, April Butler and Beth Butler both of Port Richey; father and stepmother, Gary and Lorraine Butler of Clearwater, Fla.; and three brothers, Jim Butler of Cedar Falls, Iowa, John Butler of Galveston, Texas and Joe Butler of Glen Burnie, Md. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2006, Dobies Funeral Home. The funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006, at Faith Lutheran Church, 5443 Sunset Road, New Port Richey. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Gardens, New Port Richey.
