KEARNEY, Mary Ann (nee Benvenuto) formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed into a more comfortable existence on Thursday, February 18, 2021. After graduating from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School she worked as a secretary in Manhattan. Maggie as she was known to everyone, married at age 21 and traveled with her husband, as his work required, to different parts of the country. Everywhere she traveled she left behind friends and good memories of her culinary enthusiasm and love of dance. She graced Atlanta, GA, Queens, NY, Sharonville, OH, Willingboro, NJ, Huntington, CT and finally Brandon, FL. While humble in the extreme she did take great pride and pleasure in her children, Kevin Kearney (Charlotte Olsen) of East Haven, CT, Patricia Serino (Dominick Serino) of Port Saint Lucie, FL and Kenneth Kearney (Ann Carpenter) of Stratford, CT. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Brian Kearney (Jenna, Davis) of Stratford, CT, Megan Kearney of Los Angeles, CA, Michael Serino of Martha's Vineyard, MA and Brittany Kearney of Fairfield, CT; as well as two great-grandchildren, Connor and Teagan both of Stratford, CT. She is also survived by her husband, William Kearney who fully recognizes how blessed he was with her love and devotion for 64 years.
