DOUTON, Maryellen "Sunny"
85, of Largo, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, Sept. 7, 2015. She was born in New London, CT on July 21, 1930. She was predeceased by her son, Russell Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Russell "Windy" Douton; her sister-in-laws, Mary Lou Mariano, of New London, CT and Betty Meyer of California, Jeanie Douton of Stewartsville, MN; along with many nieces and nephews all over England. Sunny performed up and down the east coast with her husband, WINDY, in an RV doing their COMEDY MAGIC SHOWS with live colorful birds and balloons for over 25 years. Sunny was the first person to ever make a balloon animal from a pencil balloon. She was a member of the Order of Merlin Shield, The International Brotherhood of Magicians and The Society of American Magicians. She loved entertaining people and making them laugh, with her quick wit and come back lines. She enjoyed meeting new people, befriending many and welcoming them into her "family". She was an honest woman who spoke her mind, sharing all her knowledge and ideas, giving many people excellent advice. She will be greatly missed by her husband, family and all of her friends. There will be a TRIBUTE to her on Wednesday, Sept. 16, at 6 pm at the JAPANESE GARDEN MOBILE ESTATES CLUB HOUSE, 19709 US Hwy 19 N, Clearwater, FL 33764. Come early and help celebrate her life. Tell of an experience you had with her or something she said that helped you along the way. Please RSVP ahead to Anne Marie so that we may plan the amount of refreshments.
