SWANSON, Maynard

Francis Jr. 83, of Wellborn, passed away on February 4, 2019 at home surrounded by family. He was preceded in death by his parents Allyn (Allison) and Maynard Francis Swanson Sr.; first wife, Carol Dudley. Maynard is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years, Ruthann Frantz Swanson; loving children, Jeff Hauff (Debra), Carie Diepersloot (Eric), and Christiana Morgan (Kyle); amazing grandsons, Chris (Christina), Stone, Cole, and Seth; and awesome great-grandsons, Travis, Tanner, and Jasper. Maynard is survived by a brother, extended family, and life-long friends. He graduated from Duke University with a Doctorate Degree in Law and served as a Sixth Circuit Court Judge for 30 years. His hobbies were traveling and being with family. He is now healed and partaking of his heavenly feast. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 16 at 11 am, at the St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church located at 18615 NW 238th St., High Springs, FL 32643. Father Lance Horne will officiate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Bart's Episcopal Church or Haven Hospice of Lake City. Arrangement are entrusted to:
