Patricia THOMPSON Obituary
"Patty", 67, of Canonsburg, PA, and Tampa, passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016 in UPMC-Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh. She was born on March 11, 1949 in Pittsburgh, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Zinsmeister.
Patty enjoyed spending her time in both Canonsburg and Tampa. She worked for Giant Eagle for over 20 years and retired as a supervisor. She regularly attended South Canonsburg Church in Canonsburg and enjoyed volunteering with Potters House Deliverance Tabernacle in Tampa. Patty especially enjoyed long walks on the beach with her dogs. She was a loving and giving person who helped everyone and will be missed by all who knew her. In June of 1998, she married her beloved husband, William J. "Bill" Thompson, who survives. Also surviving is a son, Daniel Lange of Pittsburgh; a daughter, Terri (Steve) Horton of New York; three precious grandchildren; her brother, Robert Zinsmeister of Pittsburgh; nephew, David Fleming and his family of West Mifflin; and mother-in-law, Joann Thompson of Pittsburgh. Friends are welcome from 1-2 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 2 pm, on Wednesday, May 11, in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., Joseph P.
