Polly Leavengood Obituary

LEAVENGOOD, Polly lost her battle with cancer on Nov. 24, 2012. She was a St. Petersburg native, and a realtor here for over 25 years. She attended Boca Ciega High School, Berkeley Prep, University of the South (Sewanee), University of Florida, Elon College and University of South Florida. She enjoyed tennis, billards, bridge, and her loving pets. She did volunteer work most of her life, most recently on the board of ASAP Homeless Services these past 10 years. She loved spending time with family and friends. She had a spark that ignited laughter and love in everyone who knew her. She is survived by her companion and love of 19 years, James Beall; as well as her sister, Diana Leavengood Blanco; and four Leavengood brothers, John, Joe, Henry and Bill. She was preceded in death by her brother, Rick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Suncoast Hospice Foundation of Pinellas County or Kanuga Conferences at 130 Kanuga Chapel Dr. Henderson, NC 28739. Global Mortuary 530-3600

I extend my deepest sorrow to Polly's family and many friends as she will surely be missed. She was such a caring and wonderful girl and woman as I knew her as both.
