POPP, Robert D., 84, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away March 27, 2003 in Zephyrhills. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Jeannette (Clark) Popp of Zephyrhills; children, Barbara (Calvin) Baker of Conyer s, Ga., Mary (Leslie D.) Marsh of Shelbyville, Tenn., James (Gabriella) Popp of Cedar Crest, N.M., Robert (Rosie) Popp of Alpharetta, Ga., Patricia (Kerry) Loughman of Albany, N.Y.; grandchildren, Mark and T yler Baker of Conyers, Ga., Jess and Ben Popp and Antonia Fiber all of Cedar Crest, N.M., Keith, Tim and Christina Wilson of Lebanon, Tenn., Jennifer Wilson of Louisville, Ky., Katelyn, Kevin, and Erin Lough man of Albany, N.Y., Alex, Ana, Jay and Kenya Popp of Alpharetta, Ga.; great grandchild, Tyler Wilson of Lebanon, Tenn. A Memorial Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Bradford United Chur ch Of Christ, 7900 Fort King Road, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, with Rev. James Owens officiating. A reception will be held at the church following the service Interment will be held a t Florida National Cemetery at a later date. Born June 8, 1918 in Rochester, N.Y. to William Frederick and Mary (McAnn) Popp. He graduated from Syracuse University in 1940 and taught and coached for 41 years . He is in the New York State Hall of Fame for his outstanding achievements in coaching High School Sports. He was active in the Lions Club, and the First Congregational Church, and the Boy Scouts of Walton, N.Y. He was a Veteran of the Army serving in World War II, an avid gardener and golfer, an organ donor, and a member of the Bradford United Church of Christ.
