STEBBINS, Wayne S.

71, a loved son, husband, father and grandfather was called to his final resting place Tuesday, January 8 2019 at home with his wife by his side. He was born July 29, 1947 in Beaver Dam, WI to the proud parents of Ronald and Madeline (Stafford) Stebbins.

He was survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Beverly Stebbins; his son, Jeffrey Scott Sypherd Stebbins (Valerie); his daughters, Stacey Ann Sergent (Raymond) and Heather Bernier (Paul); and his aunt, Virginia Neitzel (Erv).

He was known as Papa and Grandpa to five grandchildren, Ryan, Aidan, Cheyenne, Caden and Wyatt; and three step grandchildren, Josh, Nathan and Joe. He loved spending time with them.

He attended school at the Univeristy of Oshkosh receiving his B.S. and became a medical technologist for 40 years. He and his wife also ran a success baseball card shop in St. Petersburg for many years.

When he retired they moved to Sun City Center, where he was able to enjoy golfing and the country club lifestyle. His passions were baseball, including coaching little league in which he took the team to a state title, golf, hunting, candle making and always made sure he had the most manicured yard in the neighborhood.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 2 pm at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park & Funeral Home. A reception will follow at Kings Point South Club in Sun City Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Wayne's honor to Life Path Hospice www.chaptershealth.org or to the . Arrangements are under the artful care of Serenity Meadows Memorial Park & Funeral Home, Riverview, FL.
