So sorry for your loss! I have had the great pleasure to have met Roger today. I know that Jewell must have been an incredible woman because we were blessed tremendously by Roger today. The piano that was Jewell’s, will be treasured and well loved in our home. My hope is to learn how to make a beautiful noise unto the Lord with it. When we do, we will be thinking of you and your sweet family.
Thank you for your generous spirit and kindness Roger.
Well done Miss Jewell, well done!
Prayers for healing for your family.

What a beautiful spirit Aunt Jewell had. She never missed a chance to ask how your day was going and to let you know that she loved you. She loved to joke a lot, and her laugh was infectious. She will be missed by those of us left behind but brings joy to those who have gone before us to prepare for her arrival. May you rest in peace in the arms of so many. Love you!

Aunt Jewell was a mighty woman of God. She knew Him well and spent her life loving Him and serving Him.
She made sure that her boys went to church and would even call up friends and say, "I'm going to church today. You want me to come and pick you up and take you?"
She and I shared a love of history and we spent many phone calls jumping from topic to topic and learning from one another and always laughing together. At the end of each conversation we always made sure that we said "I love you" to each other.
Jewell Davis leaves a legacy of love, faithfulness, and perseverance. Whatever she had to face in life, she acknowledged that the Father was in control and she was His daughter and she would always come out on the other side of the situation stronger and trusting Him even more.
My aunt became my friend and I will miss her so very much.
I love you, Aunt Jewell!
