Prayer for Peace

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master,
Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
To be understood, as to understand;
To be loved, as to love;
For it is in giving that we receive,
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

Amen

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of SGT. Angus and we honor his distinguished service to the cause of freedom and liberty. Sadly, America has lost one of its finest heroes, the U.S. has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage, which they will love and respect forever. Today, because of the sacrifice SGT. Angus has made, the house of freedom is stronger, sturdier, and more secure.

To the family and friends, of SGT. Angus, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to carry on. Just as you were always with him when he was deployed overseas, know that he will always be with you wherever you may be. In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that SGT. Angus was a man distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

"Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid, they have earned our undying gratitude. America will never, ever forget their sacrifices."

SGT. Angus the flag of the United States of America has your blood sewn into the fabric; it shall forever wave in your honor.

Freedom requires sacrifice the protected will never know.

To the Family and Friends of SGT.Daniel Angus,

I saw his obituary what a nice picture. I am so sorry for the sudden death of such a brave young man like Daniel.

Find comfort from the thought at Psalms 34:18-"God promises to wipe out every tear from our eyes, and death will be no more".

You can feel that Death can leave a heartache that nothing can heal, just know that Love can leave a memory that no one can steal.

The flag is presented, folded into its case, sealed w/tears as he lays in his final resting place.

He died a hero, for you & for me. He gave his life so that you may live free.

Don’t forget about the ones who gave their all & paid a heavy price when they answered that call.

Remember the hero, the marine who loved the corps, he’d do it all again so that you may never see this war.

He died doing what he loved to do, he made sure he was protecting you.

I had the honor of working with Sgt Angus at MCRD/ERR Parris Island. He was truly an inspiration to those around him. He embodied our Core Values of Honor, Courage and Commitment. He was truly a Marine's Marine and led by example in ALL he did. He always accomplished the mission, whatever it was.... and he ALWAYS took care of his Marines. ALWAYS. I'll never forget his ability to light up any room he walked in, his big smile, or his HUGE truck. I am honored to have worked with him, if only for a few months, and hope I can work with more Marines like him one day.

Sgt Angus-

The Corps was a much better organization because of you. You’ve already had a huge impact on us. I guarantee you will continue to impact our future. We are better Marines for having known and served with you. I cannot thank you enough for everything you taught me. I respect and miss you more than you know.

Rest in Peace, brother! We’ve got the fight from here! Semper Fidelis!

I know there are no words to say at this time, except how sorry that I am. I truly feel your loss and pain. My thoughts and prayers are with you always. Daniel will never be forgotten.

For you every single soldier
Those who served so honorable
Your life was forever altered
While I’m home safe and free
I stand with grateful admiration
I stand respectful and so proud
I know I’m only a civilian
And I don’t even know if it’s allowed

But I salute you; allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
Even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
My humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.
I salute you.

For those missing in action;
for those who didn’t make it home.
I know you’re in God’s presence you are not alone.
For every neatly folded flag;
for every shattered family
I will do the only thing I know to dignify your memory.

I salute you, allow me the honor
to salute you with permission let me say
even though I hold no rank know that from my heart
my humble gratitude comes from the deepest part.

I salute you .

When tragedy strikes and takes the life of our loved ones, many cry out with great sorrow. Your tears are not unnoticed by Our Heavenly Father. Although your deep pain will not easliy disappear, prayer to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The bible assures us God "is healing the broken hearted ones, and is binding up their painful spot." (Psalms147:3) Working through grief takes patience, for you may feel that you are on an emotional roller coaster. One of the principal ways to draw close to God is through prayer. Please accept my deepest sympathy, and may the Father of tender mercies and your precious memories of Daniel bring you comfort during this difficult time.

I cannot find the words to express my thoughts and prayers for your family. Although I have not met you, Daniel's family, I have met Daniel on a couple of occasions. He shared a house with my daughter and her husband, Chantel and Kurt. Romans 8:26 says-In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.-Please know that my prayers are going up for your family. In Christ' love may he hold you all in the palm of his tender hand.

My husband and I are members of the Lutz Patriots, a group that supports our military by sending care packages to them thanks to donations from the community. We also wave flags every Friday during rush hour to remind people of the sacrifices being made by our military. We were honored to be able to stand on Bayshore Blvd. with our signs and flags, the men saluting as Daniel went by and the women with their hands over their hearts. It is the least we can do for someone who gave the ultimate sacrifice. I can't personally feel your pain but know that it did hurt even those of us who did not know him. Our prayers are with you as you face the days ahead. May God give you the courage and peace you need at this time.

Embrace The Star. Who are the women that embrace the star does anyone know who they are. They raised their children right by their side gave them love and showed them pride thaught them the basics and how to speak always hughed them and kissed their cheek read them stories sang them songs taught them the difference between right and wrong. Then one day their country did call and in that battle that child would fall never again to hug or to hold left only with memories that never get old. Who are the women that carry that scar they are the MOTHERS who embrace the Star
