Edward P. Marcinkoski

EDWARD P. MARCINKOSKI Edward P. Marcinkoski died peacefully in his home on January 5, 2013. He lived a full life mostly on Long Island, NY where he graduated from Hempstead High School, Class of 1938. He joined the Army, attained the rank of 1st Lt., and received a Bronze Star and a Purple Heart in the Battle of the Bulge. Ed then received his BA from Hofstra College and MBA from NYU. He managed the family auto business and later worked as Assistant to the Commissioner for Nassau County. He and his wife, Sue shared 63 years together, playing golf and travelling extensively to many parts of the world, making friends wherever they went. For the last 22 years, Indianwood, Indiantown, Florida has been their home. Ed was predeceased by his wife Sue, and his brother, Alfred. He is survived by his sister, Lilian Boltuc of Uniondale, NY; his 3 children, Richard (Linda) of Simi Valley, CA; Virginia Eppolito (Joseph) of Liverpool, NY; and Gary (Karen) of Lakewood, CO; 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He died a wealthy man for he enjoyed his life right to the end with many friends. Inurnment will be in Long Island, New York at a later date.
