Pearl Harper

Pearl Harper, 74, died Dec. 4, 2012, at Treasure Coast Hospice. She was born in Fort Blackmore, Va., and moved to Florida in 1959, living in Key West and Fort Pierce. She was a homemaker. Survivors include her daughters, Tina Funk of Port St. Lucie and Sally Davis of Fort Pierce; son, Richard Harper of Fort Pierce; brothers, Philip Salling, Fred Salling and Brian Salling, all of Virginia, and Jeff Salling of Tennessee; sisters, Lois Reed, Sue Lawson and Ann Jesse, all of Virginia, and Trudy Williams and Jane Smith, both of Tennessee; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Harper, in 1986; and sister, Kate Rhoton. Memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 5000 Dunn Road, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
