Dear Jeannie and Gary and Tristen,
I am sitting here in Geneva and have been praying for you all all week. I so wish I could be with you to celebrate Ger's life on Sunday. I remember with such awe and wonder Ger's prayer during Tristen's baptism in Austria. We know that Ger is safely in His father's arms and that in some way he is still with us in a new and spiritual sphere. In joy for the way he has enriched and blessed our lives, in sorrow for his life being so short, in hope of eternal life, and in prayer and solidarity with you in the coming days, months, and years...forever,

We will always remember Ger's amazing energy and spirit. His years at Saint David's were so happy for him, and he was well loved by his wonderful family and countless friends. It was a privilege to teach such a caring, inquisitive boy. Matthew particularly wants Tristan to know how much he is thinking of him. He remembers how much he adored his older brother, Ger. I will always treasure the unforgettable times we shared just a few years back lighting the candles and standing around the tree at Christmas time, visiting you all in New York, and when we spent time together in the Keys.
