William A. Naylor, 95, died Oct. 5, 2011, at Royal Palm Nursing Facility, Vero Beach. He was born in San Francisco and was a resident of Los Angeles most of his life before moving to Vero Beach in February. He was a child actor, under his own name, Billy Naylor, and was the last survivor of the original silent films "Our Gang Comedy." At 18 years old, he became the youngest actor, at that time, of the Screen Actors Guild. He continued to work at Warner Bros. as casting director and sound effects editor. Survivors include his niece, Jeanne Dunphey of Florida. He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 30 years, Valena Blaney. Services: No services are scheduled. Arrangements are by The Neptune Society.
