Gerald L. Hillert

Gerald L. Hillert, 80, died Jan. 3, 2009, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. He was born in Saginaw, Mich. He retired from Sears-Roebuck, where he worked as an interior decorator in Detroit. Survivors include his companion of 56 years, Robert L. Costa of Vero Beach; sisters, Joyce Hillert of Waterford, Mich. and Audrey Hillert of Vero Beach. He was preceded in death by his brother and sister. Memorial contributions may be made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice Foundation,1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
