Inez Alsup

Inez Alsup, 72, died Aug. 9, 2010, at her home. She was born in Waynesboro, Ga., and lived in Port St Lucie for 16 years, coming from Kokomo, Ind. She was a high school administrator and one of five assistant principals at Kokomo High School in Kokomo. She received bachelor's and master's degrees from Tennessee State University and did advanced work in education teaching English and French. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Johnny D. Alsup of Port St. Lucie; daughter, Janice Renee Rose of Bloomington, Ind.; sons, John Steven Alsup of Chipley and Donald Jones of Indianapolis; sisters, Patricia McDade and Eunice Ray, both of Fort Lauderdale; brother, Eric Charles McDade Sr. of Fort Lauderdale; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
