Kathleen (Goodsell) Peeler, 78

Clinton - Kathleen A. (Goodsell) Peeler, 78, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 4, 2018 at UMass Medical Center in Worcester. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Elizabeth Burgwinkel of Clinton; John Peeler III & Sherry of Athol; Scott Peeler of Worcester; Sharon Peeler-LaFountain & Michelle of FL; Noelle Jensen & David of Clinton; Tanya LeBlanc & Sean of Westminster; 20 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many dear friends. She is pre-deceased by her sister Anne Trautner, niece Janet Trautner, and former husband John F. Peeler, Jr.

Kathleen was born in Clinton to the late William & Elizabeth (Russell) Goodsell. She attended local schools and graduated from the Clinton High School, Class of 1957. In addition to raising her family, Kathleen worked as a dance instructor, a realtor for Century 21 Real Estate, and an insurance agent for John Hancock Insurance Company in Worcester. She later owned and operated Rings N' Things on High Street in Clinton before ultimately retiring. Kathleen was a woman of great faith and devout member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish in Clinton. She loved reading, traveling, and summer trips to the beach. Above all, she was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who was happiest while in the company of her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St., Clinton, with calling hours prior from 9:30-11AM in the Philbin-Comeau Funeral Home, 176 Water St., Clinton.
