WORCESTER - Myra Rosenberg, 92, of Worcester passed away peacefully on December 28, 2018, with her loving daughter and best friend, Isada Rosenberg-Martignetti by her side. She was born on July 3, 1926 in Brooklyn, NY to Ida (Markenson) and Lewis Blumenstein. She was predeceased by her husband and soul mate, Milton Rosenberg and her sister, Pauline Pesner-Banker.

Myra leaves her daughter, Isada Rosenberg-Martignetti of Worcester; her son, Bart Rosenberg of Cincinnati, OH; her granddaughter, Lesa Branam and her husband, Jim of Columbus, OH; her great-grandson, Nathan Branam of Columbus; a brother-in-law, Norman Rosenberg and his wife, Ina of West Bloomfield, MI; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Rosenberg of NYC; nieces, Julie and Robin and nephews, Steven and Mark.

For 40 years, Myra volunteered her time, efforts and energy as a fund-raiser for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Jewish Home in Worcester. She and her husband were passionate animal lovers. Together they rescued countless abandoned and stray cats giving all of them forever homes. Myra also had a green thumb and her home was full of beautiful plants.

Her daughter, Isada, would like to thank the staff at Tatnuck Park, Brookdale Senior Living, the Corcoran House and Summit ElderCare for their wonderful care they gave her mom, with special thanks and gratitude to the staff at the Lutheran Home for their exceptional end of life compassion, care and support.
