Patricia (Olson) Pepper 79

Worcester - Patricia M (Olson) Pepper, 79, a lifelong resident of Worcester, devoted wife, mother and grandmother passed away surrounded by the ones she loved, Friday, August 9th.

Patricia was born in Worcester on May 2nd, 1940, one of six children of Raymond H. and Vivienne (Bonner) Olson. She was raised and educated in Worcester and on September 24th, 1960, she married the Love of her life James F. Pepper and began their 58-year life together with love, devotion and family in the Summit neighborhood of Worcester.

Always interested in and gifted in crafts, Patricia operated her own craft company, Roses and Lace. She had previously worked for Morgan Construction, Washburn, CVS and the Fair Department Store.

Patricia is survived by her devoted family, her husband James F. Pepper, Sr., five children, Cheryl Moscoffian and her husband Ronald of Oxford, Susan Roche and her husband Stephen of Worcester, Karen O'Keefe and her husband Scott of Oxford, James F. Pepper, Jr. and his wife Lori of Worcester, Trisha Burque and her husband Jesse of Holden; a sister, Cindy Jensen and her husband Michael of Dennis; nine grandchildren she adored, Amanda and her fiancé Keith, Ronald and his wife Michelle, Ashley, Stephen, Kellie, Andrew, Nicholas, Kyle and Aiden; two great granddaughters, Grace and Norah; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Two brothers, Ralph and Ronald Olson and two sisters, Sheila Johanson and Donna Caputo all predeceased her.

Patricia was a member of Saint George Church, its women's guild and a frequent St Vincent de Paul Society contributor, She was a beautiful person who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life; spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, attending all their events and activities, family dinners, special occasions, holidays, traveling with Jim anywhere she could, especially just getting in the car and driving somewhere. She truly believed that faith, family and friends were the most important part of her life and she had room in her heart for everyone she met. Patricia was very generous with her love, time and resources, and helped anyone she could. She was also very gifted in crafts and the arts and relished all the time she spent while doing this.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours Thursday, August 15th from 4 pm to 7 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Her funeral will be celebrated Friday, August 16th from the funeral home with a procession to St George Church, 40 Brattle St where her Mass will be held at 10:30 am. Burial will follow In Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton; In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to "Make A Wish" Sherry's House, 1152 Pleasant St, Worcester 01602.

The Pepper family would especially like to thank the Jewish Healthcare Homecare and Hospice for the care, compassion and comfort they provided for Patricia during a difficult time.
