Rita Favulli Obituary

Rita T. Favulli

Falmouth - Rita T. Favulli, age 87, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at JML from complications from COVID-19. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother.

Rita was born on July 11, 1932 in Worcester, MA to Mary and Michael Guerra. She was married to the late Henry M. Favulli for 46 years.

Rita was most happy surrounded by her family. She was an amazing cook and baker and family dinners were a special time for all.

Rita and Henry lived in Worcester until they relocated to Falmouth in 1979. She was a devoted catholic and was a member of Saint Elizabeth Seton Parish of North Falmouth.

Rita is survived by her daughters, Joann Wakefield and her husband Douglas, Mary Elliott and her husband Jay, and Annmarie Silvia and her husband Thomas, all of East Falmouth as well as six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Anna Fenuccio of West Boylston, Judy Quinn of Manchester CT, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Thomas Guerra, Anthony Guerra, Frances Bertulli, and Carol Cruzen.

We would like to thank the staff at JML for their wonderful care. We would especially like to thank Katie, Elena, Serena and Bobbee to name just a few. Also want to thank the staff in the COVID unit who held her hand while we could not.

Services will be held at Saint Anthony's Church in East Falmouth on Tuesday, June 16 at 11 am. Burial to follow at Otis National Cemetery in Bourne. Church services are also available via livestream at Falmouthcatholic.org/live-stream.
