Samuel R. "Sammy" Ramondelli, 65

Lunenburg - Samuel R "Sammy" Ramondelli, 65, died Thursday morning June 7, 2018 after a long illness.

He leaves his loving wife of 26 years, Jackie (Graves) Ramondelli; his children, Sammy and Sabrina Ramondelli, both of Lunenburg; his sisters, Rose Ramondelli of Fitchburg, Carol McWilliams and her husband Jim of Shrewsbury, Connie Ramondelli and her spouse Debbie Bondy of Millis and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his sister, Maryanne Desgroselliers of Westboro.

Sam was born in Fitchburg, on March 3, 1953, son of the late Constantino and Carolina (Mitola) Ramondelli. He was a 1971 graduate of Fitchburg High School.

Sam was the proud owner of Showroom Sammy's Used Cars in Lunenburg for many years before retiring. He was a devoted member of St. Boniface Parish and a member of the Fitchburg Lions Club. He was a big corvette fan along with his classic cars. He enjoyed boating on Lake Shirley and the Friday night cruise nights at Kimball Farms.

Sam had a personality you wouldn't forget quickly, and he will be missed by many.

His funeral will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018 from the Lunenburg Chapel of the Sawyer-Miller-Masciarelli Funeral Homes, 763 Mass Avenue, Lunenburg, with a mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Boniface Church, 817 Mass Avenue, Lunenburg, MA.

Burial will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery, Fitchburg, MA

Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Samuel Ramondelli, to Tufts Medical Center, 800 Washington, Street, Box 231, Boston, MA 02111.
