Bette M. DeVico, 79
Shrewsbury - Bette M. (Chausse) DeVico, 79, of Shrewsbury, died Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center, after being stricken ill at home.
Bette leaves her husband of 42 years, Paul A. DeVico; two daughters, Gayle M. Farrell and her husband Steven of Grafton, and Dawn K. Holmberg and her husband Carl of Shrewsbury; a stepson, Christopher G. DeVico and his wife Rita of Paxton; two grandsons, Paul C. Konkol and his fiancée Brittney Sherillo of Uxbridge, and Sean M. Konkol of Shrewsbury, and a great-granddaughter, Lyla M. Konkol of Uxbridge.
Her brother Robert A. Chausse died Dec. 15, 1994.
Bette was born in the Wilkinsonville section of Sutton, daughter of Alexis and Stella (Lemieux) Chausse, and was a graduate of Sutton High School.
Bette was a receptionist and secretary for the Worcester accounting firm of Singer & Lusardi for many years before retiring.
Bette and her husband Paul travelled extensively around the world. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandsons Paul and Sean, and her great-granddaughter Lyla.
The burial in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury, will be private. There are no calling hours.
