Daniel C. Foley, 63

WORCESTER - Daniel C. Foley, 63, formerly of Worcester and South Boston, died October 8, 2016 at his home in Mount Dora, Fla.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Daniel C. and Dorothy E. (Wells) Foley. He lived in South Boston for many years before moving recently to Florida.

Dan graduated in 1971 from South High School and attended Assumption College, both in Worcester.

Dan was an antique and memorabilia dealer for many years. Previously, he worked in the Data General Maintenance group. He also worked refinishing concert pianos in Cambridge, MA.

He was a great movie buff and a happy uncle to his many nieces and nephews.

Dan leaves two brothers, John D. Foley of Hillsborough, N.C. and Kevin C. Foley and his wife Kathleen of Brimfield; a sister Ann E. Foley of Worcester; nieces and nephews. His brother Stephen F. Foley died in 1999.

There will be calling hours, Saturday, November 12, from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. .

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Assn., 300 Fifth Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
