Heidi Johnson, 45
RUTLAND - Heidi Johnson, 45, of Rutland, died Friday, November 11, 2016 at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home, after a long illness.
Heidi leaves her mother Judy (Chartier) Johnson and Norman Collette of Worcester; her father Barry Johnson of Texas; her sister Carrie Lee and her father Joseph Humfryes of Worcester; her sister Heather Johnson-Laventure and her brother-in-law Christian P. LaVenture of Webster; an aunt Sandra Beard; an aunt Cynthia Carlo; a stepmother Ann Marie Kelley; an uncle James Chartier; five nieces and nephews, Kylee, Allyson, Hanna, Anton and Ella Rose; and an extended family including cousins and friends. Her beloved nephew Christian Jeffrey LaVenture died in 2014.
Heidi was born in Worcester and lived in Rutland more than ten years. She studied cosmetology at Worcester Girls Trade High School.
Heidi worked in real estate in Shrewsbury with the Multiple Listing Service. She was a former receptionist in the office of Dr. Min S. Ahn in Worcester.
Despite lifelong health challenges, Heidi lived life to the fullest. She loved warm weather and sunny beaches, and her beloved cat Dynamo.
She loved to dance and taught Salsa to others. She had a spiritual devotion to angels. She will be greatly missed.
There will be calling hours Wednesday, November 16, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. There will be a funeral service in the funeral home Thursday, November 17 at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St., Worcester.
