Donald C. Rocheleau, 84

Worcester - Donald C. Rocheleau, age 84, died peacefully Friday, June 23, 2017 with his family at his side.

Donald was born on July 17, 1932, to the late Emile and Elsie (Carlson) Rocheleau.

He leaves his wife of 53 years, Ellen M. (Walsh) Rocheleau of Worcester; his children Kathleen Freeman and her husband Richard of Worcester; Patrick and his wife Rosario of Milford; Brenda Lee Manning of Pittsfield; and Eileen Barnhouse and her husband Kenneth of California, MD; seven grandchildren: Matthew Freeman and his wife Cassidy; James Freeman; Joseph, Patrick, and Mitchel Manning, and Samuel and Katherine Barnhouse; and many nephews and nieces.

Donald was the last of his generation, predeceased by his siblings May, Eugene, Eileen, Elaine, Edward, David, and Peter.

Donald raised his family in Worcester and was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish.

Donald travelled the U.S. and enjoyed the ocean, fishing, and entertaining others with his quick wit. He was an avid walker, attended daily Mass, and had a great devotion to saying the Rosary. He will be missed by his family.

The funeral Mass for Donald will be held Wednesday, June 28, at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 27, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donald's memory may be made to The Missionary Society of St. Columban, P.O. Box 10, St, Columbans, NE 68056 or Immaculate Conception Parish, 353 Grove St., Worcester, 01605.
