Marjorie C. (McNally) Bowles, 75, formerly of Worcester, died Wednesday, June 21, at the Sandalwood Nursing Center in Oxford after an illness.
She leaves a son, Michael P. Bowles and his wife Christine, two grandchildren, Brendan and Katherine Bowles, all of Auburn; a brother, Robert F. McNally and his wife Kristin of Natick, a nephew, a niece, and several cousins including Mary Jane Nuzzetti and her husband Anthony of Worcester. Her brother James R. McNally died in 1996.
Marjorie was born in Worcester, daughter of Clarence P. and Mary M. (McNamara) McNally.
Marjorie was a graduate of the former Classical High School. She worked for many years as a sales clerk at Lechmeres and Filenes.
Marjorie enjoyed vacations at Cape Cod, and especially the time she spent with her family.
The family would like to thank Sandalwood Center and New England Hospice for their care and support.
Funeral services will be private.
The Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, is directing arrangements.

So sorry to see of your mothers passing. I worked w/ her over 20 yrs ago @Lechmere in the Greendale Mall and have thouht of her many times over the yrs. She was witty funny and an all around great person to work with.
My thoughts are w/ you & your family. May she now have eternal peace..

To Michael and family. So sad to hear about Marge. She was my neighbor for many years and loved her. She had a wonderful humor and would make me laugh. She was always getting chickens ready in the bathtub for Michael ( my other son). Be at Peace dear Marge.
