Ha Luong, 39

MILLBURY - Ha Luong, 39, of Norfolk, Virginia, died Thursday, October 5, 2017 at the UMass-Memorial Medical Center after a short illness.

He leaves his mother Tran McCann and her husband Denis McCann of Millbury, a sister Thanlien Nguyen in Vietnam, a brother Bo Luong, his wife Sarah, and their children Callen and Scarlett of North Grafton, his grandmother My Huynh of Millbury, and two stepbrothers, Denis McCann Jr., his wife Meghan, and their children Mackenzie, Ailish and Maeve of Cherry Valley, and Christopher McCann of Lunenberg and his son Liam.

Ha was born in Vietnam, and came to America in 1980. He grew up in Millbury and attended Millbury High School. He has lived many years in Virginia where he has worked in the construction industry.

There will be calling hours on Monday, October 9, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester. Other funeral arrangements will be private.

We are so saddened by the news of your sons' passing. Ha was a wonderful young man who worked at our hotel when he came to Virginia Beach. He was an absolutely great salesman and friend. He made friends with our whole family and will be greatly missed. God Bless.
