Rebecca Hale Obituary
FISKDALE - Rebecca M. (Veach) Hale, 56, of Fiskdale died peacefully Wednesday, September 26, 2012 in UMASS Medical Hospital in Worcester after a period of failing health.
She leaves her husband of 34 years, John Hale; her daughter, Lacey Hale and her husband Keith Gay Hale of Grafton; her mother, Doris (Hultgren) Veach of Fiskdale; a brother Robert Veach of Connecticut and her adored grandson, Parker James Hale.
Rebecca was the daughter of the late James Veach and was born December 5, 1955. She was a 1973 graduate of Burncoat High School. She was born in Hawthorne, CA and has lived in the Fiskdale community since 1987.
You are invited to attend her memorial service at MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester on Tuesday, October 2nd at 11 a.m. There are no calling hours and burial will be private. Those who wish to remember Rebecca by way of memorial tribute are kindly asked to consider the Worcester Animal Rescue League, 139 Holden Street, Worcester, MA 01606. I was shocked when I was told of Becky's passing. I think we all knew we would meet like we did yesterday, I just never thought we would be in our 50s when that time came. i will always remember the good times. When I first met John and Becky in 1980, the both of you couldn't do enough for us. The same is true of all the visits we made prior to moving to MA. Let's remember the great times we all had and look forward. We have the rest of our lives to enjoy!!!

Those of us that were lucky enough to know Becky over the years knew she was vivacious and loving with an uncanny sense of humor. That is the Becky I will always remember and miss. May she rest in peace.
