MILLIKEN, "The King" ClintonAge 7, on January 19, 2012 while cuddled in his mother's arms, left this earth and let his heart fly away to Heaven. I hope God is ready when he brought that angel home, because he doesn't play the harp, he bangs the drums and wears firemen rain boots while he does it. He is survived by his parents, Jeremy and Kimberly Milliken; brothers, Jordan and Max; grandparents, Tom and Glenda Root, Hugh and Trudy Warpool; great-grandmother, Zella Seals; aunts, Carolyn Marlin, Ronda Marlin, Andrea Smithson and Kacy Darnell; friend, Lori "Utter Mutter" Woodard Hoyt; other aunts and uncles and cousins, the amazing family of St. Edwards School and Parrish, and many, many friends. The family will receive family and friends at Mount Olivet Funeral Home on Sunday, January 22nd from 2 p.m. - 6 p.m. The celebratory Mass of the Resurrection will be at St. Edward Catholic Church, Nashville, TN on Monday, January 23rd at 10 a.m., by the Rev. Joseph Patrick Breen. A one hour visitation will be held from 9 till 10 a.m. prior to the service. Immediately following the church services, the entombment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 1101 Lebanon Rd., Nashville, TN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Edward's School, 901 Thompson Lane, Nashville, TN 37211 for the Clinton Milliken scholarship. MOUNT OLIVET FUNERAL HOME, (615) 255-4193.

"Daddy please don't look so sad, mummy please don't cry.
Cause I'm in the arms of Jesus, and he sings me lullabies.
Please try not to question God, don't think he is unkind.
Don't think he sent me to you and then changed his mind.
You see I'm a special child, I am needed up above.
I'm the special gift you gave Him, a product of your love.
I'll always be there with you, so watch the sky at night.
Look for the brightest star and know that's my halo's brilliant light.
You'll see me in the morning frost that mists your window pane.
That's me in the summer showers, I'll be dancing in the rain.
When you feel a gentle breeze from a gentle wind that blows.
Know that it's me planting a kiss upon your nose.
When you see a child playing and your heart feels a tug,
Don't be sad mommy, that's just me giving your heart a hug.
So daddy don't looks so sad and mummy please don't cry.
I'm in the arms of Jesus and he sings me lullabie my thought,s are with sending prayer,s from the uk

How wonderful and special your little Clinton has been in his life here on planet Earth! He'll continue to help us from heaven above just like St. Therese, the Little Flower promised to do.
Brian Hanrahan is my nephew and has linked me to your story on Caring Bridge. Thank you for all your faith, hopes and charities that you've shown to them and all those connected to you.
GOD LOVES US and we just need to let Him be close to us in all our trials and woes. I'll be praying that you, as a couple, allow God's love and mercies into your hearts. Loving each other more is our best gift to honor this precious life of Clinton. Love, Jeannine Lierman

I have prayed for Clinton in the past and pray for his family now. Everyone knows he's beating those drums loud announcing his arrival and children who have gone before him are gathering to great him to his new home. Although he won't be playing for the St. Edward Band, he's in God's Band...can't top that one. I know you don't know me, Renee Thompson is my daughter in law and she has kept up informed about Clinton. My heart goes out to you.

There are no words to express our deep sympathy over Clinton's passing. He could make you smile just looking at you. He had a devilish grin and he was truly an extraordinary guy. He we had such fun with him at the Ranch that day. I will forever think of him driving that little jeep and chasing the girls in it. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
