Dear Stephen, Mrs. Schaefer, Kathy and Nancy
I just received the Macalester alumni magazine and found out about Patricia's passing. I am so very very sorry to hear. Patricia was my roommate at Mac and welcomed me into her circle of friends there. It was wonderful to see her in Nashville three years ago, and I will miss her very much.

Steve---- my wife and I have been out of town for several weeks and just today I was told of the passing of Pat and that there was a memorial service in Helena. Sorry we could not attend. Always enjoyed Pat as a friend and colleague in the Attorney General's office. Thoughts and prayers are with you as you deal with the loss. ---Joe Roberts

Steve, I was just stunned to see this. I think of Pat often and her incredible skill at Baltimore Album quilting. She was a wonderful teacher and friend while in Helena. I'm so sorry I was not able to make it to the service today, I have been scheduled to work this weekend for months. So many of Pat's former quilting group are out of town or unavailable today but didn't want to let you think we had forgotten her. With deepest sympathy.
