The Nazarenes on the Asia-Pacific Region are standing with you in prayer. Our church leaders on this region hold Dr. Greathouse with such high regard. He will be greatly missed.

Between 1981-1985, we were honored to have him visit at least five times across our region at assemblies, graduations and other special events. Through his writing, preaching, teaching and Godly leadership, he has had such a positive influence on all of us. For many years, he had personally mentored some of our finest Asian leaders.

We are thankful that his legacy will live on through these leaders, and through his numerous publications that have been translated into several of our languages.

May the Lord bless you and comfort you at this time.

With Humility and Gratitude,

Rev. Verne Ward III

To the Family of Dr. William M. Greathouse,

On behalf of Nazarenes across the Asia-Pacific Region, we send our words of condolence and appreciation.

During his tenure as General Superintendent, in the mid-80's, Dr. Greathouse visited many of the districts, churches and institutions on the region. Through his powerful preaching, teaching and leadership, he helped to lay a solid holiness foundation for the young church in Asia and the Pacific. His influence continues on into the future through the lives of Asian leaders that he personally mentored, and through his many books that were translated into a variety of Asian languages, including Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese, Burmese-Chin, Khmer, Indonesian and Chinese.

In honor of his memory, the Asia-Pacific Regional Office is contributing $100 to Trevecca Nazarene University for the William M. Greathouse memorial scholarship fund.
