John F. Kelley, age 81, passed away on June 14, 2012 at his Thousand Palms, CA home. He was born in Revere, MA on December 13, 1930, the eldest of two children to John Robert and Florence Kelley. He is survived by his wife Dorothea (Chickie) Kelley; sister Betty Griffin, sons: Ken, Jim, and Shawn Kelley; daughters: Gayle Poindexter, Erin Whittaker, and Tammy Tamimi; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jack was a Navy Veteran, and retired from Singer Librascope after 36 years. Jack was a member of the Knights of Columbus for 55 years attaining the 4th degree and was a Color Corps member. He enjoyed golf, snow skiing, boating, and family time. He fully supported all his children through Pop Warner, drill team, and Canyon Cowboy sports.

A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 am June 20, 2012 at St. Clare Church, 19606 Calla Way, Santa Clarita, CA 91351. In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 8th Ave. 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001.
