Brunella "Boo" Trahan Rogers

CROWLEY - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Crowley for Brunella "Boo" Trahan Rogers, 80, who entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 6:04 a.m.

Mrs. Rogers was a native and lifelong resident of Crowley. She attended St. Michael's Elementary and was a graduate of St. Michael's High School. Upon graduating she began working at KSIG Radio Station where she met and later married, Dan Rogers. After leaving KSIG Radio Station together to work in the bag industry, they founded Acadia Industries in 1971 where they worked together until their retirement in 1992. Together they raised six children and were very involved in St. Michael's Church and School.

Fr. Jared Suire, Associate Pastor of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, will officiate for the services. The family requests visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. A Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday by Deacon Rodless Leleux.

She was a loving mother to her six children, Bridget R. Vidrine and her husband Dewey of Youngsville, Annette R. Hatsfelt of Oakdale, Maureen Rogers of Crowley, Stephanie Rogers and her partner Carla Champagne of Breaux Bridge; Daniel E. "Danny" Rogers, Jr. and his wife Gina of Crowley, Michael Rogers and his wife Lynn of Crowley; three sisters, Wanda Trahan, Betty T. Boulet and Rose Marie Trahan all of Crowley; nine grandchildren, Sarah Didier, Adam Didier, Rick Stutes, Molly Pourciau, Lindsey Rogers, Tyler Rogers, Anna Wyble, Jacob Rogers and Ethan Wyble; and one great-granddaughter, Kaidence Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Edward "Dan" Rogers, Sr.; her parents, Whitney and Cecile Hoffpauir Trahan; sister, Dorothy Trahan; son-in-law, Ronnie Hatsfelt.

The family wishes to thank Heart of Hospice, Dr. M. N. Katira, and close family friend, Jeff Foreman.

The family requests memorial contributions be made to The or St. Michael's School.

Pallbearers will be Tyler Rogers, Adam Didier, Ethan Wyble, Rick Stutes, Jacob Rogers and Chad Pourciau.
