Leonard Worth

Lafayete - Born October 26, 1947, in Jackson Michigan, Leonard A. Worth began his pursuit of knowledge and zest for life.

Mr. Worth went to be with the Lord on Friday May 4, 2018. He is survived by; his mother Helen Elizabeth Worth, of Horton Michigan, sisters Phyllis Arlene Moore of Concord Michigan, and Karen Perry of Kalamazoo Michigan, and many nieces and nephews. Also survived by his wife Chun Ge GAO, with whom he was recently blessed to find love, again, and who helped him throughout his illness.

He was preceded in death by his father Stanley Allen Worth, a brother, Roland Bradley, and his loving wife of 35 years, Lynne Darby Worth.

Leonard had served his country proudly and well in the United States Navy, with an honorable discharge rank of Petty Officer First Class. He continued in education to advance in fields like electronic technology, accounting and tax preparation, massage therapy, and more.

Once he and his wife Lynne had relocated to Lafayette La., from Arkansas, Leonard was employed by LSU Hospitals Health Service as a Human Resources Analyst.

Leonard loved the Lord and belonged to the Living Church of God.

A man with many talents, a love of nature, appreciation for the beauty of winter in Michigan and the solitude of a cattle pasture, he will be missed by those who loved him.
