Lafayette - Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church for Willis Labbe', Jr.

Services will be conducted by his brother, Father Clifton Labbe'.

Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Willis Labbe', Jr. was born on November 5, 1933 to Willis Labbe', Sr. and Mabel Mathews-Labbe" in Broussard, Louisiana. He entered into eternal rest on May 13, 2018 under the care of St. Joseph's Hospice, The Carpenter House in Lafayette, LA.

Willis moved to Ridge in 1979 after he married Annie Goodie. For ten years they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their blended family. Annie and Willis faithfully served as Eucharistic Ministers at St. Basil Catholic Church. After Annie's death, Willis moved back to Lafayette where he joined Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Willis worked for SOLOCO, Inc. for over 40 years, retiring in 1995. He enjoyed zydeco music, dancing, traveling and spending time with family members and friends.

Willis leaves to cherish loving memories one son, James Harlan Labbe'; one daughter, Madeline Labbe'; stepdaughter, Beverly Mouton (Clayton); stepson, Michael Sonnier; an aunt, Effie Lewis and his companion, Rose Broussard. He also leaves one sister, Gladys Labbe' Arceneaux; four brothers, Russell Labbe' (Leora) of New Orleans, LA, Reverend Clifton Labbe' of Lafayette, LA, Leopold Labbe' (June) of Lawton, Oklahoma and Richard Labbe' (Ursula) of Lafayette, LA; eight grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis Labbe', Sr. and Mabel Mathews Labbe'; his wife, Annie Goodie Labbe'; his daughter, Stephanie Labbe' Hamilton; his son, Donavan Labbe'; a grandson, Grant Hamilton and a brother-in-law, Clayton Arceneaux, Sr.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Anthony Catholic Church from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 9:00 a.m.
