Please accept heartfelt condolences from coworkers and friends at the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources. Craig was a valued staff member and asset to the mission of the agency; he labored with a smile, positive attitude and disposition of service. Thank you for sharing him with us and the public during the last 10+ years of his work career, working as a wildlife technician at Taylorsville Lake Wildlife Management Area. On a personal note, he helped my son and another young man with their Eagle Scout projects, voluntarily working multiple weekend days to help the troop implement archery range projects. Craig's field work and public interactions enhanced habitat for wildlife and public enjoyment of Kentucky's resources by many thousands of outdoor recreationists. Prayers for you all at this difficult time. --Commissioner's office

My prayers to all Jake's family and friends. It was an honor to have met and known him working at IBM and Lexmark. It's true about being a social butterfly. He had a kind and gentle soul and a sense of humor. May he rest in ever loving peace and in no more pain. May all your memories help you through your difficult and sad days ahead. We lost a beautiful man inside and out...

Becky, Jeremy, and Lindsey , I am so sorry to hear of Craig's passing. I ran a volleyball church league for several years. Craig and his team, had more fun than anyone. every year. Craig made sure everyone had a good time. Jake was always Craig to me as he grew up down the street and our moms worked together at The Fashion Shop. RIP ole buddy, love ya. Prayers for all.

Oh my...where to start! Love you ALL sooooo much! It is so unimaginable that Jake has left us... Jake’s character was just so much fun! Always smiling, laughing and joking, always making everyone smile, unless you were one of the kids being disciplined by him, then you heard his deep voice and serious look! Ha! We have all had so many great, great times together... at church, church and youth activities, VBS, camp, family events, car shows at church with Wheels of Time and downtown Friday nights in lawrenceburg. Loving and picking on our kids and making them feel special! They all will miss him so much, too! Jake just had a passive understanding love that encouraged others, especially kids!! You could tell he loved life! He was not a complainer, at all!! You ALL have been a huge part of our lives and families!! Becky, I love you, and cannot imagine you without Jake!! You were a sweet, very special couple... you went together like peanut butter and jam and milk and oreo’s... always complementing each other!! I know he will always be with you and still a huge part of your life. I imagine him like a spouse in a movie that comes back randomly that sits on the couch and just talks to youAnd to Jeremy and Lindsey, what a special dad you had, that loved you and your families soooo much, all the wonderful examples he set for you!! And to all his grandkids, on my how he loved you and told others about you, his support in your lives, just awesome!! To your Dad, I know he loved you so much, he always talked about you in the most loving way and so concerned about you, and so eager to see you when you came to visit. He would come to church and talk to us about you! And to Don, you knew he loved you so much, too! For loving his mom and kids and especially grandkids the way you do. God is so Good in ALL things!! We are blessed so much by our God!! The wonderful life that he gives us...the privilege of being involved and apart of all his creations, especially family and friends. Jake we will miss you... Until We Meet Again!!

Jake was one of my most loyal fire fighters at the Glensboro forestation 3. I could always count on jake and Larry to show up and serve his community as a firefighter. I as well as others will surely miss him but my heart is full of his smiling face and calm deameater. Heaven gets another wonderful soul.

So sorry for your loss. Jake was such an awesome person. Full of life and stories to tell. I will never forget the night I fell in your pond frog gigging. He said he could my flash light shining up out of the water. He reminded me of that night often. Good times! Good memories!
